Ceiling Cladding

The principal purpose of ceiling cladding is to conceal the installations. Furthermore in a concert hall the request is sound absorption, reflection or diffusion.

Another important aspect is the appearance: Ceiling cladding can be made of different materials such as metal, steel, wood, gypsum or the Lindner NORIT-Industrial Board. The surface of these acoustic elements is varied like the raw material. It can be veneered, laminated, coated, perforated, coloured, cut and 3D-shaped.

Besides the function as a reflector, absorber or diffuser a benefit of a ceiling in a concert hall could be to make it movable in order to adjust the acoustic.

Ceiling claddings
