Description

Project: Exhibition Centre Hanover - Hall 19/20
Description:

With 496,000 sqm of roofed area and 26 exhibition halls, the Hannover exhibition centre is the largest of the world. Accordingly, quite a few internationally important events take place on these premises, including the CeBIT and the Hannover Messe. In order to meet the demand for specialised areas used for parallel events of fairs, it was decided to erect a multi-purpose hall with congress and convention areas. This new construction´s 25,700 sqm of usable area can be divided into numerous constellations, which is enabled by floor-to ceiling mobile partitions. Events with up to 14,600 people can be held in this building.

Lindner contributed large parts of the interior fit-out to Hall 19/20. The executed works include, among others, dry construction works, installation of ceiling systems, wooden doors and wooden wall claddings. Furthermore, Lindner constructed a custom baffle ceiling that actively contributes to the regulation of the noise level in the bistro area.
