The traditional Wimbledon Tennis Championships is one of the best-known sporting events in the world. Court No.1 is an important stadium for the tennis tournament and it was extensively renovated and overall capacity increased. The three-year project included the installation of a bespoke roof design by Prater which was constructed using BEMO aluminium standing seam roof system and Prater also installed the cladding package to the outer wall façade. Challenges in the project were the complexity of the design and the restricted space on the construction site. |
