Balcony Fronts
Formative elements in a Concert Hall are the balcony fronts. They can be optic adapted on the other surfaces such as wall cladding like in the orchestral auditorium in Stavanger. At the Music theatre in Linz for example the appearance of the balcony fronts are exceptionally because of their “beaten gold” colour.
Balcony fronts can be produced in all different shapes and surfaces. With the Lindner NORIT-Industrial Board as substrate every appearance is realisable. In terms of form, colour and texture, nothing confines your imagination. If you ask for a wooden surface nearly everything is possible: real wood veneer, milled wood elements or for example multilayer plywood.
Adjusted on the weight requirements and the acoustic function, balcony fronts can absorb, diffuse and reflect sound.
