Description: | The applike group success story continues, as does the collaboration with the Lindner Group as a partner for tenant fit-out. What began as a start-up in 2015 has now become one of the ten largest app platforms in the world. With its steady growth, there is also a growing need for office space that meets both the technical requirements and the corporate philosophy, as well as the needs of applike's employees. BAID Architekten designed the spatial concept with its own theme and colour scheme for each floor. After expanding its headquarters at "An der Alster 42," applike moved into additional office space in "ADA 1" in 2023, which is also situated by the Alster and designed by BAID. The existing building from 2007 is known for its "floating eyes", a design feature that runs through the facade and interior spaces, as well as cut-outs in the concrete ceilings. The architects used these recesses to optimise the acoustics and reverberation time in the room. However, it was important to ensure that the concrete core activation of the ceiling was not compromised. For this, Lindner recommended their Mute + sound absorbers: These can be fitted perfectly into the ceiling recesses and ensure optimum room acoustics thanks to prior calculation and simulation. In terms of sustainable and circular construction, Lindner was also able to effectively support BAID. Mute + are easily dismantled and made from certified low-emission materials. The glass partition walls in the existing building were partly still in very good condition and it was therefore decided to reuse some of the glass elements after cleaning, fitting them with new profiles from the Lindner Life 620 range. Further office spaces were separated with new Lindner Life 125 partition walls, which are also very easily dismantled and reusable. As a full-service provider, Lindner further took care of the tenant fit-out, refurbishment and fresh up of the existing office space as well as the kitchenettes, sanitary rooms, open-plan meeting points and lounges. |
